OKC SHOULD NOT go after anyone...and they wont, they need to resign Durant and then Westbrook and Green after that. Cook gives them better 3 point shooting now, sure he isnt great, but the change in scenery should help him get some of his touch back.
anyways, im glad we are clearing more and more money up. JVG is an idiot and Lakers fans arent the only people that hate him, i dont think Kobe likes him either. Its going to be tough, even if Phil comes back next year, he wont the year after most likely, and itll be tough for kobe to get a coach in there he can trust, Coach K isnt leaving Duke. |

tell u what...not that Cook is a great player or anything, but they sure could have used his 3 point shooting against the Lakers in the playoffs instead of having Harden in there bricking all those shots when Westbrook didn't have the ball in his hands and Durant struggled.
I think they're gonna trade Maynor before the nights over. NJ is going to get Wesley Johnson I'm almost certain at the 3. I guess they're content with their bigs w/ Yi and Lopez, which is cool I guess, but I'd say Courtney Lee is a better SF for the future than Yi is a PF...they should take Favors, but w/e...screw the Nets. I dunno why, but I really don't see Phil leaving the Lakers and retiring, yet. No long term deal, but I think he'll be back another year or so. It really is hard and rare you see people walk away from the game when they're on top. You guys see Bosh yet with the shaved head? No longer the Raptors mascot, he's definitely out of Toronto. I really think some combo of Wade and Bosh/Amare/Boozer/Dirk end up in Miami while James and Bosh/Amare/Boozer/Dirk ends up in Chicago or New York. Most likely with Dirk and Amare staying put. You guys hear Iverson wants to come back again? LOL...I can't defend him anymore, so I wont try...but still curious to see where he ends up if he does sign. I'm against his actions, but I must say even on a terrible Sixers team for 25 games last year, he played his role well and finally humbled his game a bit. I'm sure both he and McGrady will end up playing on a title-ready team, perhaps signing along with one or more of the other marque free-agents for the MLE |

Bulls send Hinrich and their first-round pick (#17) to Washington for nothing basically.
They're apparently trying really hard to get rid of Deng and his massive deal to either Orlando (for Pietrus and Gortat) or the Clippers for picks. That certainly would free up a lot of space for James/Bosh to sign. I think most Bulls fans feel the same way about Deng as I do as a Sixers fan with Iguodala. Same draft, and certainly talented players, but they never performed all that well to deserve the massive deals they received. I know if I was in charge of my team though, I'd give up Iguodala for Deng or any cap space to sign another B-list wing man (Joe Johnson/Rudy Gay)... can''t wait to see how things play out. Haven't been this excited about an off-season ever, and I mean that. |

I would not want Iverson on the Lakers. All these dudes just want to ride one out before they retire and get a ring.
Can't really see Iverson being a good fit for any contender. He's not effective at all coming off the bench either.
McGrady....Dont want him.
Phil would only get another year and everyone knows he'd retire after next season if he comes back.
All the him going with lebron speculation is a joke. Dude is not going ANYWHERE but staying in LA. Even if we had lost he would just retire.
Phil Jackson 5 titles with the Lakers, soon to make it 6 to tie his Bulls career.
People obviously don't know Phil Jackson (Not referring to you retro), but in general even before the playoffs ended, to even think he'd go to another team whod obviously be rebuilding, he's way too old for that now.
At this point in his career 11 titles, he'd ONLY come back to try and get thhat repeat. Not about money like he said, this is the last run, one last season or retire.
People are crazy to think He'd leave Kobe for Lebron
Lebron doesn't care about winning, if he did, he'd already stay on the good team that they have rather than considering leaving just to make more money in a big city that would be rebuilding

Draft right now:
Wizard - John Wall 76ers - Evan Turner Nets - Favors Timberwolves - Wesley Johnson The Timberwolves have a good young core in Flynn, Love, Jefferson and now Johnson...I like that group |

I KNEW the Jazz would take Hayward....it's because hes white...no lie
Glad the Nets drafted Favors. Huuuuge upside. By the way to Jacob and OneWay.... Nets and Pacers were about to make a trade in which NJ would recieve: Granger! 10th Pick Indian would recieve: 3rd pick Yi Devin Harris I wish the Nets did that, but they declined! ![]() |
