They're taking off the KD IV ID's very soon in favor of the KD V ID's so I dusted off the ol' credit card and ordered 2 pairs. I've been wanting these two for a while. It was hard to decide because I wanted a Bruce Lee ID and a Motorsport ID as well, but I chose these loud colors over those. More worth my money imo.

Do you remember when the ‘South Beach’ LeBron colorway found its way onto a pair of slides way after its original release, offering up a sort of consolation prize for all those who missed out on that smash hit sneaker? Well it looks like the same might be in the works for the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Weatherman’, no doubt one of the most popular pairs for Durant’s current sig. Pictured here is the first we’ve seen of any sort of Kevin Durant slide model, done up with that coveted colorway and the minty fresh ‘Easter’ from earlier this year. Looks like there will be one final push for the Nike Zoom KD IV before the V makes its triumphant debut. Here’s a look at two new colorways of the KD IV colored up in an alternate OKC Thunder composition like the White/Photo Blue/Yellow colorway of earlier this year; the tonal yellow is mixed with a solid royal blue (much like the Zoom Kobe VII ‘FC Barcelona’), while the much sportier anodized photo blue version combines with yellow for a sick end result. We’ll keep you updated on release information (should these be confirmed for a drop), so check out the additional angles below and let us hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Are y’all really surprised? Finishing off the What the Nike Basketball Signature trifecta is Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD IV, which features a mind-blowing mash-up of Weatherman, Galaxy, Nerf, Year of the Dragon, Aunt Pearl, and much, much more. Durant, however, calls these the ‘All in One’ KD IV, but it’s clear that ‘What The…’ certainly applies here thanks to the initial Kobe VII release of a few months ago. The question now remains: will these release? No confirmation at this point, and like the LeBron 9 ‘What The LeBron’, these are just a sample/promo at this point, but you know Sneaker News will hook you up with information when it becomes available. Kevin Durant finishes off the signature athlete tour for Nike Basketball as he visits China for even more basketball-focused events and fun for his fans around the globe. During one of the Q&A sessions, KD was seen with the upcoming ‘Gold Medal’ colorway of the Nike Zoom KD IV, a shoe that has yet to release in the States. During recent interviews with U.S. media outlets, Durant has stated that he’s just now entering his prime, which signifies that he recognizes a potential for improvement (quite scary considering he’s not yet 24 years of age)!

If you’ve been watching Team USA do their thing out on the hardwood in the 2012 Olympics at all recently you’ve probably gotten the sense of how much of a favorite they are for the gold medal this summer. Even the announcers, doing their best to be PC about it and not come right out and say what we’re all thinking, slip up sometimes and mention how likely it is that our boys will be grabbing the gold. In the event that that does happen Nike Basketball has of course crafted a special set of sneakers to pay tribute, with Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Gold Medal’ pictured in a few new angles here.
