Nice. I've liked these since the pics leaked last summer. At first glance I always think KD Soldiers.

I read that KD wanted a foam shoe as the 4's.

Been liking those nerfs for the longest now. I must obtain! Best believe I'll be switching the straps if I have multiple pairs.

Nike Zoom KD IV - Mint Candy/New Green-White "Easter"
Another colorway of the Zoom KD IV has surfaced on the web, this time it's the unique Mint Candy-based make-up. First seen throughout the forums along with several other colorways, many fans were particularly intrigued by this first of it's kind colorway of the Zoom KD IV. A mint candy coat works the entire upper on these, while new green accents on the tongue, cross-strap and other areas throughout. The unique colorway is continued by minimal hits of purple, taking care of the bottom area of the cross-strap, while white works the strap Swoosh and midsole. An official release has yet to be confirmed, but these are set to drop sometime in April as part of the Nike Basketball Easter Pack. Be sure to stick with Sole Collector for official details and a closer look at this great colorway of the Zoom KD IV. Color: Mint Candy/New Green-White Style: 473679-301 ![]() |

If you get past the colors and look at them from a distance, especially the inner side and out trigger they kind of do. The III's also resembled them.
Not a big deal, I just noticed that from the pictures I posted. I'm surprised you don't agree, you said the Kobe VI's looked exactly like the V's.

^****. No way I can afford.
I absolutely LOVE the Nerfs. My favorite "new" Nike bball shoe for this upcoming "season" (ehhhh) by a LONGSHOT....Any solid info on release availability and price? I know all KD's are generally cheap, but I'm sure because of the gimmick they'll be more expensive... |

Kevin Durant: “I think the “Weatherman” KDIVs are better than the “Nerfs”
This past Saturday, we caught up with Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant while in Dallas for the Josh Howard Celebrity All-Star event. The two-time NBA scoring champion discussed a number of topics surrounding his fourth signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom KDIV. Specifically, he talked about his involvement in the KDIV’s design process, the obvious advancement in his signature line, the possible direction of the Nike Zoom KD V and his thoughts on fellow brand members Kobe and LeBron’s sneaker lines. However, the biggest piece of information Durant touched on was a new, upcoming colorway of the KDIV dubbed the “Weatherman”. |

Kevin Durant’s got all the tools that make up a championship level player. Maturity beyond his years, a merciless offensive arsenal, and well-polished all-around game – the list just goes on. Don’t be alarmed at the fact that the Durant emerged as the best in his draft class and, in just three seasons, the best scorer in the entire NBA and perhaps the world. Nike’s radar for sensing greatness has never failed, and since 2008, the former Texas Longhorn only furthers that flawless streak of successful athletes; together, Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant present the Nike Zoom KD IV – the fourth overall chapter of the Nike Zoom KD legacy. Sporting a new cross-mid-foot strap with a lightweight upper and the new Adaptive Fit system, the Zoom KD IV is a natural extension of Durant’s game – smooth, seamless, and ready to throw down at any moment. More importantly, the shoe is engineered specifically to adjust to multiple positions on the court. You’ve already seen a healthy previewing of the shoe here on Sneaker News, with special attention going to some of the more high-energy colorways like the ‘Nerf’ and ‘Year of the Dragon’, but kicks things off the right way with the Zoom KD IV when it officially launches on December 3rd, 2011 at a welcoming price-tag of $95. We’ve got more of the Nike Zoom KD IV after the jump, so take a look at all the details and stick with Sneaker News for more updates and info.
