Nike Zoom KD IV Gold

You should be familiar by now with the various USA themed sneakers that our basketball squad will be donning for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. But should they continue to dominate when the Olympics actually get going, could we see them switching to something a bit more regal for the gold medal game or medal stand? We may just be looking at that here – a pair of the Nike Zoom KD IV that gets a coat of metallic gold, with the shiny upper and speckled midsole walking the line between the previous “Christmas” and “All-Star” colorways. We’ll keep you posted as more details surface on whether or not this Nike Zoom KD IV has an official Olympic connection. For now, you can get a better look after the jump and let us know if you’d cop these should they make their way to a retail release. Photos: Randy Williams

Nike Zoom KD IV Scoring Title Release Reminder

It’s safe to say that the 2012 year has been one of Kevin Durant’s best of his life. A third-straight scoring title was followed by a trip to the NBA Finals (still an admirable accomplishment despite coming up short) and an invitation to represent Team USA in the upcoming 2012 Olympics. With that said, there are still a few KD IV bangers awaiting us (next week’s USA and the sick Golden joints), butdon’t forget about the Scoring Title edition, slated to hit stores tomorrow. We hope you’ve got your RSVPs in check, but if not, these will be available at select Nike Basketball retailers and should fly off the shelves as quickly as Durant explodes for a dunk. Can’t wait around? Cop one of the available pairs on eBay.

I remember a few years ago $175 would get you HEAT. Now every damn new release is going for insane prices.
