^^Not sure about Lebron the player but his kicks have been on spot the last two models.

Comfortwise, after owning Lebron VIII and Kobe VI I dare to say:

On the Court:

Lebron VIII>Kobe VI
Lebron VII<Kobe V

^ I agree TC. Although I don't really care too much, I hear they also raised the price another $5? So $170?

So $170?   Randy..For the record, I didn't even say anything about Kobe.   I keep hearing you say how you like the VIII's more than the Kobe VI's, but don't you own more pairs of Kobe VI's?

I'm just saying since I know you don't like Lebron. I still believe Kobe>Lebron as a player but shoes are another thing. I do have a few Kobe VI which I prefer to rock casually since I tested them on the court. But I still have more Lebron VIII's..

-Black on Black
-Entourage x2
-All-Stars

Plan on Copping, Yankees, Cool Greys and maybe one more once the go on sale. Also, waiting for Unchinas to arrive.

I have balled on the VIII's. As soon as I stepped on the court I felt secure and the traction was good. But I guess to each their own.That's why I was mad at the Kobe VI performance. I didnt have any issues with the Kobe V's. I wore them, straight out of the box and they felt so good.

To be honest, I still prefer my Air Jordan XIV over Lebrons and Kobe's on the court.

I'm definetly not a fan of Max Air to ball in, sits too high off the ground for my liking, which is one of the reasons mostly bigs wear them in the NBA.   I've always preferred a zoom setup, it's just more responsive most of the time. I don't feel safe in a Max Air shoe, not really sure how to describe it, but I guess because of how they feet off the ground.   Trust me, It doesn't bother me that you like the Lebron VIII's more to ball in.   I thought you had more Kobes since I think it was you that mentioned you ordered another 2 pairs or something....How many VI's do you own?   As far as the IX goes, not a fan of hyperfuse technology which is why I passed on hyperfuses. 180 Max air? I'm guessing Zoom setup in the fore foot...Kinda weird.   They went from Zoom air on Lebron I-VI's to 360 Max air on the VII's to Zoom in the PS VII, than 360 max air in the VIII's, to Max air in the heel and zooom in the front...Now they're keeping that setup in IX?   Weird imo....This will be the Lebron IX though, so there's probably going to be 9 different versions of them.

I know it doesn't bother you if I like the Lebron VIII comfort, I'm just stating my opinion on the shoe and what I got from using them on the court. I also understand each person can have their opinion on the Lebrons VIII. To each their own.

I do agree with you, as a smaller guy I prefer zoom air but the Lebrons VIII are a little different. Really comfy and secure on my feet right out of the box.

I own a a lot of Kobe VI because I like their look. I am open minded about the VI. I'm going to continue to rock my del-sols and see how they do after braking them in. My opinion might change. However, I don't understand why the V's didn't need breaking in and the VI do. A step backwards.

As I stated, to each their own. These are basketball shoes which where meant to be rocked on the basketball court. Not sure who else has rocked them on the court but if they do, I would love to hear their input. Who else on the forums have rocked or own a pair of Lebrons VIII and Kobe VI?

Not sure how the Lebrons IX will look. So far they don't sound sexy but I will hold back any opinions until I actually see the shoe.

Last week was the best stretch of news for LeBron James fans since early June when his Miami Heat got off to a 2-1 lead in the 2011 NBA Finals.  Monday started the week with perhaps the best Soldier 5 colorway yet, the new 'Miami Night' LeBron 8 V/2 Low was unveiled, we saw a Hyperfuse sample of the Air Max LeBron VII and how these last couple years of experimentation with King James line has now culminated in the Nike LeBron 9.  The LeBron IX combines all the best technologies from the last few years of his Nike Basketball series (perhaps a bit of Foamposite away from this statement stretching across the entire line).  You get the carbon fiber from the LeBron VIII, the Flywire it shares with the V/2 and the lightweight advantage of Hyperfuse as seen on the PostSeason Eights.  A mix of Zoom Air forefoot and Max Air heel cushioning rounds out the most impressive list of specs ever assembled on a sneaker for any sport, certainly a design worthy of a world champion.  We don't know whether James will win his first championship while wearing them but the Nike LeBron 9 certainly seems capable of providing the literal base to his next quest for the chip.  Click through for some new photos and let us know what you think of LeBron's ninth sig.  via Air-Randy
