It doesn't. Just stating my opinion.

V1,V2 and V3 transformation where a hit in the sneaker community (maybe not the V3 as much). I think it opens the door for the Kobe line to try the transformation for all 3 inspirations and make it more successful than their first attempt. The cool thing is that it seems only 2 versions will drop: GR and Supremes

I'm excited to see pics of the VII's.

^ They usually do that, either way China will get the best like usual smh.

I liked all of the Kobe II's even the Lites. They only released over seas though and dropped at some outlets here in the states.

It's about damn time Nike gives Kobe this treatment. **** is rediculous the way they do things with the Kobe line.

Randy, I don't see where it says anything about the Kobe VII being V1, V2, and PS.

Just because there might be 3 models doesn't mean it has anything to do with Lebron. LOL

I doubt anyone on UTA even bought any Kobe II's, but like the article states, the II's had 3 versions as well and that was 5 years ago.

"The higher price point Zoom Kobe VII Supreme supposedly showcases an internal booty/ankle fit system, transforming the shoes from cheetah “fast” to shark “strong”. If this story sticks true, it wouldn’t be a first in the Kobe Bryant line. Nike presented and sold the Zoom Kobe II concept as a three model shoe pack, exhibiting alternate styles for “Sheath,” “Strength,” and “Lite” looks."

I bought the wht/purple/yellow Kobe IIs but never got around to copping any strengths or lites.

Exclusive: Nike Zoom Kobe VII Brings Back Herringbone Traction Pattern Outsole, Sort Of

image

Here’s an exclusive first look at the actual Nike Zoom Kobe VII outsole going into production. This has been the subject of much debate, with prototype and wear test samples showing both the fractal geometric design and full-length herringbone pattern alternately. Even more, performance-focused sneaker fans have begged in vain for a return to herringbone since it was last used on the Zoom Kobe IV.

This new Kobe VII image looks like Nike Basketball decided to split the difference, literally. A segmented line provides herringbone traction to the medial side of the shoe, while the triangle-shaped solid rubber pattern takes care of the rest of the shoe. Also seen in this new image is the carbon fiber midfoot plate and what appears to be continued usage of the braille-like “KOBE KODE” embedded in the arched rubber at the midfoot point. Read through all our past coverage of Kobe Bryant’s next signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe VII here, and check out the new photos below.

This price is only for the elite model but it's still sucks. Way too much for $$$ now.

That midsole looks like it may be rather clunky. With the price point they are going to, I have a feeling these will sit on shelves.

You guys remember how bad the Kobe V fakes looked? The molds were almost the same, but materials wern't even close. If that's the VII, and you just imagine it with that patent type material like the aways or POPS...WOW!

The final product should be very interesting.

Before Evan even says anything, they do look a lot like the V's, nothing like the VI's. But if they're anything like the samples we saw earlier than the only similarities will be the colorway.
