^^That's terrible.
The saddest part though, they'll probably move alot of them. Since their shoes are authentic, people will automatically assume the jerseys are.
pys has sunk to a new low. It's bad enough they charge rape prices for most kicks, now they sell fake throwbacks. I'm officially boycotting the site.

man in my opinion, if you knowingly wearing a fake throwback, you deserved to be stoned. cant believe people are still buying them when the real thing is so affordable now (well, some of the older and popular ones anyway)

^Agreed. I still see fake ass people wearing fake ass jerseys in my school...always the punk ass freshmen too... though they're starting to fade now, everyone thinks they're the 'pimp' for wearing those oh-so "original" striped collar buttonups... no one is original at my school, cept for a select few.

^ i know right.ill admit, before i got schooled i unknowingly bought a few.but i rarely wear them.and it wasnt like they were cheap when i got em..i paid 165 for a fake Wilkins back in summer of 2003 (before the report got out how to spot fakes).and though i like button ups, theyre becoming played too.too many people started wearing them.thats why i took the Kanye approach of also wearin a blazer, a shirt over the button up,and a tie half tied.

I unknowingly bought 2 fakes. Authentic (Fake) Lebron and Carmelo. Paid normal price for both too, but it was when they first popped on the scene, so I didnt know anybetter. The Lebron is a blatant fake, and I have worn it no more than 3 times in my life. The Carmelo, however, is dead on, and I admit, I will wear it from time to time.

^ yeah i think you paid your good money on a fake, you're eventually gonna either 1.) sell it or 2.) sparingly wear it.i got a fake Dominique and ill admit i wear it from time to time...even if it has that big stupid fake tag that all fakes had in 2003. *smh* i know it's sad, but i paid 156 on that fake and dont believe in wasting money like that

I had a fake Isiah Thomas jersey. When the seller showed me the pic, it was of a real jersey though. I would have bought it from a retailer, but All Vintage(store in Sharpstown Mall in Houston) only had one left, and it was a size 48. The bastard wouldn't even special order me one.
Long story short, I was highly pissed when I recieved the jersey. It had the wrong tags, and was stitched in like a mofo(real version is heavily screened). I spent like $175 on it, but I burned it a few minutes after I got it. It was pointless to pursue a refund, since neither Paypal nor eBay gives refunds, to my knowledge, for merchandise that's not authentic. They only give a refund or whatever if you don't get the item at all. It was a fraudulent transaction, since he showed me a picture of a real jersey, which is not what he sold me.
I was able to file a complaint and get him banned from eBay though. [:D]
I later found out about jersey-joe.com and distantreplays, and ended up buying a real one from jersey-joe.

quote:same here. all authentic paid retail. 2 of my throwbackz paid retail at shoe gallery. A M&N dealer. and my QB of the Century I bought it stolen for $500. Price tag is $2300. It is long sleeves with signatures and accomplishments of all 4 playres, not like the fake short sleeve one. |

^hate to break it to you magic, but that QB of the Century jersey is fake.the real one has short sleeves and is not made by Mitchell and Ness.and if im not mistaken, it was originally made only to be put in a frame.and the autographs should directly written on, not stitched.here's a pic of the real one

Ouch!
To be honest, I knew all of the M&N QB jerseys were fake, but I didn't know that Mounted Memories made the real deal.
Magic got swindled. Don't worry though man, it's happened to almost everybody.
