I thought this was just a fad when you're 17 and just getting into sneakers.

Coolshoeshine AKA FOOTAGE has opened up two stores already. I used to buy off this dude on ebay when I was in highschool now he has his own store and keeps expanding.

If you do consignment and have your own ebay store, web store you can keep growing and open your own store.

I want to do it, but it's risky. That's why I'm continuing my education to fall back on in case things don't go the way I want them to which they usually don't.

Yo....Why you hating though? You probably want to open up your own Coin star or something with your Jewish self.

 

I would LOVE to bring a legit boutique shop to Orlando.  This is just a win the lottery/inheritance dream though.  it's partly based on a HUGE gap in the market, we have not one private shop in ALL of central florida, it's ALL chains.  The other just based on the feeling I've gotten as a customer when I leave a real unique shop in places like LA, NY, Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Twin Cities etc.

 

Resellers are also hustlers by nature. They usually just don't hustle shoes to make their living, the ones that do it to avoid having a "REAL JOB" anyway.

 

Salvi, I'm in my 30's and still aspire to open my own store one day as well. This shoe thing isn't a game for me, it's sort of a way of life and to wake up and do something you "LOVE" is like the ultimate satisfaction. I've already started doing research and will start to put the ball in motion by next year to at least start the empire I picture in my head. YOLO right? LOL
