Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite Home & Away

Sneaker News has shown you Nike Basketball’s Elite Series in detail throughout the day, starting with our first look at the finished LeBron 9 Elite and moving on to the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 for its home/away duo.  This pair pictured above is, of course, the latter, a black and gold Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite whose altered exterior is proof that they were indeed “Re-engineered . . . from the inside out using the highest performance materials.”  Expect these to show up on Blake Griffin and his high-flying colleagues at first bearing a white Swoosh, then switching over to gold for the regular season finale.  What’s to come for the rest of the postseason remains to be seen, but you can take a gander at this revised Pro Combat-protected and carbon fiber-reinforced design after the jump.  Let us know what you think about the Hyperdunk’s latest evolution and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

We just introduced to you both theHome and Away renditions of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite, but here’s a first look at the non-signature flagship basketball model in Elite form – the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite; this ‘Home’ colorway features a heavenly when upper with the sharpest touches of metallic gold on the Swoosh as well as on the visible Flywire that spans from toe to heel, with the aggressive carbon fiber used to fortify the exterior heel counter and invisible mid-foot shank. The Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite will hit retailers this April 28th and will be featured during the 2012 NBA Playoffs on the feet of Nike’s most explosive athletes like Blake Griffin and other high-flying dunk machines.
